Your coffee from our own plantation
As a co-owner of our coffee plantation in Africa, you will receive a pound of freshly roasted and cleaned coffee beans from our own harvest.
The coffee is free of charge for our plantation co-owners; only the shipping costs apply. Since the annual coffee share is reserved exclusively for co-owners, it cannot be delivered to third parties.
Freshly harvested – shipped twice a year
In Kenya, coffee is harvested twice a year. The two rainy seasons provide two natural flowering and ripening cycles:
The main harvest usually takes place from October to December or January.
A smaller second harvest usually follows from May to July, sometimes until August.
The coffee cherries are carefully harvested by hand. In the process, the farmers pick only the brightly red, optimally ripened cherries – often in several passes.
We ship the coffee after each of these two harvests. Therefore, please understand that delivery does not take place immediately after your request. This ensures you receive your coffee fresh from the current harvest.
